This manufacturing tool is currently taking an increasingly important role in industry due to its ease of use and the complexity of the components which it can be used to produce.

But, there is a problem with the condition of the surface of the components produced. In fact the components produced have a very rough, untreated surface with the risk that particles are partially sintered and can, therefore, easily become detached if subjected to stress.

Technochim has extensive experience in all types of surface treatment and has naturally taken up the challenge to find solutions.

Given that the components are sometimes complex and in order to ensure uniform treatment, the choice came down to chemical milling.

Technochim has, therefore, developed its own solutions in order to treat titanium or aluminium alloy components. These enable smooth, shiny surfaces to be obtained, eliminating any risk of particles separating off when the components are put into service.
